THE PROJECT
Simple shapes.
Nine ways to move them.
Created as part of the ‘9 Squares’ trend, this project explores motion design through nine geometric animations set to the same music. The challenge was to give each square a distinct movement while maintaining a shared rhythm and colour palette across the grid. I explored different ways to animate simple shapes in After Effects, using blue, white and black.
THE ANIMATIONS
One square,
one movement.
All nine animations were created in Adobe After Effects from simple elements. They are shown together in the master composition and individually below. Music: Sunset Lover by Petit Biscuit.
